Summer arrived last Thursday with a bang, but we carried on regardless even though it felt that we were all going to melt down.
The St Hugh's gig went well and it was very nice to be met with a jug of Pimms when we arrived.
One of the organisers left a good post on our Facebook page.
Thank you to everyone who came along.
The new songs have gone down well and we have made some minor tweaks to some of our songs resulting in a revised version of our songbook. Please see the Songbooks section of this website to download.
We now have our own public liability insurance via Making Music and it was in place for the St Hugh's gig.
Thank you to everyone who took part in to Doodle Poll for St Hugh's. We found it really useful to know who was going to come along.
Gig News
Date: Sunday 8th Sept
Venue : Withington Methodist Church, 439 Wilmslow Road Withington M20 4AN
Time: We will be playing two thirty minute sets starting at 2.15pm for Assist Charity 50th birthday event.
A songbook for the gig is available from our website. It has more songs than we probably need but it gives us options on the day and we definitely won't run out of material. We will be playing through the songbook in August.
A Doodle Poll was recently sent out for this gig, so it would be really helpful to us if you could respond if you haven't already done so.
We will be meeting as usual at The Lloyds every Thursday in August from 7.30pm-9.30pm.
The Lloyds has a new manager starting this week, so we wish them well.
Hope to see you soon
