A big thank you to everyone who came and played at The Lloyds and Chorlton Good Neighbours over the weekend and making both gigs a great success.
We were given a cheque for £50 made out to Chorlton Ukulele Group from Chorlton Good Neighbours and we are in the process of opening a CHUG bank account so it can be deposited.
We will be meeting at The Lloyds on the following Thursdays in December from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, the 6th,13th, 20th but not the 27th.
We are thinking of adding a few new songs to the songbook in January. If you have any suggestions email a PDF or Word doc of the song to us for consideration by 20th January (Chorlton Ukulele Team will be having a meeting on 22nd Jan). Please make sure you can play and lead any songs submitted and that they are suitable for a group to play.
We think that it has been a good year for CHUG and from our beginnings eighteen months ago we have gone from strength to strength.
We hope that you have a good Christmas and Santa might even bring you a new ukulele, uke bag, uke book or other ukulele related pressie!
