We will be playing two sets at Didsbury Parsonage Trust Summer Fair on Sunday 21st June 2026. Our first set starts at 12:30.
We are delighted to be invited back to the Didsbury Guitar Trail on Sunday 5th July 2026. We will be playing in the Pergola area at 12:00.

CHUG sessions are on Thursdays at 19:30 at one of 2 venues in Chorlton:
On the first Thursday of the month, we are at The Garden on Manchester Road
On every other Thursday we are at Dulcimer Bar on Wilbraham Road

We've not posted any news recently, so here are some of the main things
We have played at some outdoor gigs during the summer and we have a Xmas gig lined up at Manchester Cathedral...more about that another time!
We remain playing at Dulcimer and the Garden (ex-The Font) and we thank the management of those bars for supporting us in 2025.
We've added the address of each of these bars to our About Us page.
We are almost ready to launch our new BIG Songbook at the end of August - watch this space!

We are pleased to be taking part in Chorlton Arts Festival once again.
On Thursday 22nd May from 7.30pm to 9.30pm, we will be hosting a Ukulele Jukebox.
Come and choose a song from our eclectic songbook. If you have a ukulele come and join in, or just sing along. Everyone welcome for a fun evening.
Fancy coming along but you haven't got a ukulele - contact us through this website or send us a Facebook message to reserve one for the evening.

If you are new to the ukulele or have just not picked yours up for a while, then come along to one of our sessions where we have an enthusiastic bunch who are more than willing to help.
We also give free lesson and hints/tips at 7pm before our main session starts at 7:30pm.

CHUG are delighted that both Dulcimer Bar and The Font have confirmed we can continue holding our sessions at these bars.
We are extremely grateful for their continued support of CHUG.
All dates are confirmed on our Calendar page but, generally, we are at The Font on the first Thursday of each month, and we are at Dulcimer Bar on every other Thursday of the month. If there are any changes to this then this will be reflected on our Calendar page, so please check before travelling!

Generally, someone will be there at 7pm for free lesson/advice/help of any kind ukulele related, but if you are new to CHUG then please contact us first to check our availability.
We are really pleased to be part of Chorlton Arts Festival in May. We will be hosting a beginners workshop at 7pm on Wednesday 22nd May upstairs at Dulcimer. This will last an hour and we will follow this with a ukulele jam using our BIG songbook.

We have a Songbooks page where you can download our BIG songbook which is used in our weekly sessions. There are some other songbooks of ours here and also a Beginners Workshop book.

If you are new to the ukulele, don't be shy, give us a try! There are plenty of people that can give you a helping hand and also we provide free lessons before our weekly sessions start (can be subject to change, so please contact us first to ensure we are able to do this on the day you want).
