September 2019 Newsletter
We hope that everyone has been enjoying the fine weather over the Bank Holiday weekend.
Thank you to everyone who has responded to the recent Doodle Polls that we have sent out. We find these really useful.
Gig News
We have two gigs coming up in September and a date for your diary in November.
Date: Sunday 8th September
Venue : Withington Methodist Church 439 Wilmslow Road Manchester
M20 4AN
Parking : On side roads
Public Transport ; The bus numbers 42,43,142 and 143 stop almost outside the door.
Time : 2.15pm please arrive 15-20 mins before hand to set up. Sue will get there early.
We
will be playing two thirty minute sets from 2.15pm with a thirty minute
break in between when there will be a buffet for everyone.
This
gig is Assist Charity 50th Birthday party and there will be approx. 175
people attending so this is a big gig for us. We will rock!

Venue : National Football Museum. Urbis Building Cathedral Gardens Manchester M4 3BG
Transport ; Metrolink exchange Square or Victoria Station are the nearest stops.
Time: 12.30pm please arrive 15-20 minures before hand.
We
will be playing a twenty minute set at 12.30pm for an initiative called
Culture Champions which aims to encourage people to get involved with
music or cultural activities and how to go about setting up a group.
Without knowing it we are Cultural Champions already, and after our set
we may be asked about our group. We have attached an information sheet
that we received about the project.

Wednesday
27th November at 1pm (please arrive 15-20 minutes before hand) at
Heathercare in Sale. We played here earlier in the year and had a great
time. We will play for forty minutes and there will be coffee and mince
pies afterwards.
We will be meeting at The Lloyds as usual every Thursday in September from 7.30pm to 9.30pm.
